Overview ℹ️

The Citizens Round is a new initiative by the Gitcoin Community that rewards voluntary and valuable contributions that benefit the Gitcoin ecosystem. Nominate yourself or someone who you think deserves more recognition (and compensation).

Gitcoin Grants empowers communities to use web3 to fund their shared needs, with the impact of individual donations being magnified by the use of the Quadratic Funding (QF) distribution mechanism.

Historically, the Gitcoin Grants Rounds were fully operated by the Gitcoin team on a centralized platform. Starting April 2023, we run our rounds exclusively on Grants Stack, the easiest way to deploy, manage and grow a successful grants program. Built with Gitcoin’s open-source funding allocation protocol, Allo Protocol, and integrated with Gitcoin Passport for enhanced fraud prevention. More information can be found on the Gitcoin website.
